Grill POS Privacy Policy
Effective 31 October 2026
Grill POS is a restaurant workspace for authorized staff. It provides access to orders, tables, customer records and local receipt and kitchen printing. This policy covers the Grill POS app and the Grill workspace at grill.qview.sa, including the optional training workspace at restore.qview.sa. The training workspace contains sample records; do not enter real customer information there.
Who to contact
The service contact is MHD SOBAR FAWAZ ALA RASHI. For privacy questions, access requests or requests to correct or delete personal information, email mhdsobaro@icloud.com or call +966 58 211 4031. Your restaurant administrator also controls staff permissions and the business records entered in its workspace.
Information processed
- Accounts: staff names, login identifiers, email addresses, permissions, POS device identifiers and authentication/session information used to provide and secure access.
- Restaurant records: orders, items, tables, amounts, payment methods and transaction references. Customer names, contact details, addresses or order notes may be included when entered by staff.
- Operational information: print-job identifiers, destinations, results and error details; server request logs can include IP addresses, request times and account or session context.
- Staff communications: messages, comments and related sender/recipient information may be stored when staff use messaging or record discussions within their authorized workspace.
- Support: information you choose to send when requesting assistance, such as your contact details, app version and a description of a problem.
This information is used for restaurant operations, account access, printing, troubleshooting and service security. Restaurant records and operational events can be associated with a staff account, customer or order. Do not enter payment-card numbers, passwords or unrelated sensitive personal information into order notes or support messages.
On your device
The app stores printer names, identifiers, network addresses and settings, along with print-job status and, while needed for printing, receipt or ticket images. Asynchronous print images are removed after a terminal result is successfully saved; interrupted work or cleanup may leave files behind. Some settings, job records and local backups have no automatic expiry. The embedded workspace also maintains website cookies and storage so you can sign in and use the service.
Local printing
Local-network permission lets the app communicate with configured printers on your network. Receipt and kitchen-ticket contents are sent to those printers and may include customer or order details selected by the restaurant. Use trusted networks and keep printed records in appropriate locations. You can manage local-network permission in your device settings.
Where information goes
Workspace information is sent to the Grill service and stored on its server infrastructure. Authorized restaurant staff can access records according to their permissions. Printing data goes to the configured local printer. If you email support, your message is handled by the email services used to deliver and receive it, including iCloud Mail for the contact address above. Service administrators and providers supporting hosting, communications or maintenance may process information needed to operate the service. Information may also be disclosed when required by law.
The current native app does not include advertising or cross-company advertising-tracking features. The current Grill website configuration has no Google Analytics key. Operational logging and information needed to run the workspace still occur; this is not a claim that the service collects no data.
Retention and requests
Restaurant records, account information, operational logs and backups may remain while needed for business operations, support, security or applicable recordkeeping obligations. The service does not currently apply one automatic deletion period to every category. Device-local job records and settings can persist until removed. Deleting or reinstalling the app does not delete server-side restaurant records.
Contact us to request access, correction or deletion of your personal information or account. We may need to verify your identity and coordinate with the restaurant that controls the records. We will explain which information can be removed and any records that must be retained. Do not send your password. Staff access is provided by the restaurant; the public Grill sign-in does not offer open account registration.
Policy updates
Changes will be published on this page with an updated effective date. Contact us if you need help understanding how the policy applies to your use of Grill POS.
